Dutch pianist Joep Beving is known for merging evocative melodies with dynamic light installations.
His work Hermetism, created with artist Boris Acket, is an exploration of the connections between light and sound, challenging perceptions and inviting the audience into a shared sensory experience.
Introducing listeners to two distinct installations - 'the source' and 'the balance' - Beving's reflective compositions blend with Acket's kinetic sculptures, transcending traditional musical performance.
Presenting a narrative woven with energy, transformation, and the duality of existence, Hermetism prompts deep contemplation through the dance of light and shadow.
Presented in association with
"One-man recording phenomenon"
"...Beving's music feels like the critically acclaimed soundtrack to a film that is yet to be made. "
