There are a number of ways you can explore Illuminate Adelaide and all the different venues, buildings, and precincts we plan to light up this winter. Plan your visit and how you get there with these handy guides.
Public Transport
Adelaide Metro offers a dedicated bus, train, and tram network to help you navigate Illuminate Adelaide events throughout the city. Choose the option which works best for you while accessing timetables and tickets via the Adelaide Metro planner.
You can also take advantage of the Free City Connector bus and tram services which operate on a loop throughout the city and North Adelaide every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends.
Cyclists
If travelling to the city for Illuminate Adelaide by bike, the best routes available include the Torrens Linear Park and cycle paths along all major arterial roads.
There is also a free bike hire service available from locations in Adelaide City, Unley, and Charles Sturt every day of the week.
Taxis
Avoid the stress of finding a park and consider catching a cab or Uber!
Taxi ranks are located on King William Street, outside the Casino and Railway Station, and in other prominent locations around the city.
